Alvon has undertaken the most up to date training and development demanded by the DVSA to be allowed to instruct students.
He teaches automatic lessons in around the Newbury/Thatcham area also covering the local surrounding villages. Alvon drives an automatic electric vehicle, offering relaxed, comfortable CO2 neutral driving.
He has over 15 years of advanced driving experience as a front line emergency services worker. He’s passionate about road safety and in helping people to achieve the best they can be. In the past he has worked as a trainer, teaching others to find their own path.
When asked why he wanted to be a driving instructor Alvon said “As part of my professional career in the front line I have sadly seen the devastating impact collisions have on victims and those left behind. My drive is not just to coach people to pass their driving test but to ensure they continue safe and considerate driving every time they get behind the wheel for years to come.”

Alvon is a great instructor. When I first learned to drive back at beginning of end of febuary my confidence got knocked due to a different instructor from another school being too impatient and felt like I wasn’t making any progress. Which is why I changed to Always Pass and Alvon has been very friendly, patient,supportive and talkative and I passed my test today on my second attempt of my practical test today and am very happy about passing. I would recommend him to anyone else who is learning to drive.
